TABATA: Using primarily your own body weight, High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) is a type of cardio training using the TABATA timer. You alternate short, very high intensity intervals. This type of training has been used by athletes to improve performance, but it’s also a huge benefit for the average to above average exerciser. TABATA or HIIT training not only helps performance, it also improves the ability of the muscles to burn fat. Tabata training method are as follows:
• 4 minutes long (whole Tabata Session)
• 20 seconds of intense training
• 10 seconds of rest
• Total of 8 sessions or rounds
